There was a strange sight to be seen this morning when we boarded the subway. There were about 9-10 police officers standing about together just... hanging out. The F was closed today until 3:00pm at our station so this morning we had to jump onto another train and ride two stations in the opposite direction and turn around and hop on. The police rode the same train.
We got off at Rockefeller and checked everything out. It was pretty gnarly and beautiful. It definitely is not as big as movies make it out to be. There are so many people there. I noticed that with every famous area of New York you see in movies, you only see them that way in movies. I am thinking that every other minute of when a film crew isn't there, they're flooded with Europeans and Asian folks taking pictures and being annoying jackasses...

We made our way over to the MOMA Museum Of Modern Art to find it was closed. I did manage to score a copy of Banksy's book there cheaper than anywhere I've ever seen it sold. Score!
We made our way to Central Park and I was ultimately unimpressed again having my experience ruined by hundreds of European assholes standing in everyone's way taking 5 different pictures of one thing and their kids crawling all over decaying and graffiti marked historical monuments.
Pigeons here are hilarious. The grosser the neighborhood you are in, the grosser the pigeons are. They are funny little bastards. They will mooch off of you if they see you with any food. As in they will come over to where you are sitting and stare at you expecting you to feed them.

The Plaza is beautiful and decorated in gold. I loved it. FAO is definitely a sight to see as well. I saw some models on 5th ave and this one guy told me he liked my jacket. I must be turning into a hipster. True story.
